Award presented annually to individuals providing major support to Hopkins Children’s House and Believe In Tomorrow’s Children’s Foundation.

Wes Guckert, PTP, President and CEO of The Traffic Group, is this year’s recipient of Believe In Tomorrow’s Stewart J. Greenbaum Founders Award.

The award, created last year, is presented annually to individuals who have provided major support to the Children’s House at Johns Hopkins and the Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation.

It also honors individuals whose lives exemplify the philanthropic spirit of the late co-founder of Children’s House, Stewart Greenebaum, and his family.

“Wes Guckert has been an ardent supporter of Believe In Tomorrow for the past 20 years,” says Brian Morrison, Founder & CEO, Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation. “Wes’ generous giving has touched every aspect of Believe In Tomorrow. Whether supporting the foundation by attending events, purchasing tickets to fundraisers, providing his professional services for new projects, being an annual donor or providing amazing hands-on experiences for critically ill children and their families, Wes has always answered Believe In Tomorrow’s call for help.”

The Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation provides exceptional hospital and respite housing services to critically ill children and their families. The Foundation’s exclusive programs bring comfort, joy, and hope to children and their families, enabling them to renew their spirits both mentally and physically.

Since 1986, Believe In Tomorrow has provided over 900,000 overnight accommodations to families with critically ill children, from every state in the U.S. and more than 82 countries worldwide.

Beyond his work with Believe In Tomorrow, Guckert has served for nearly 15 years as a board member of the Carson’s Scholars Foundation. His tireless work in the community, combined with his national reputation as a highly respected authority in the fields of traffic engineering and transportation planning, recently resulted in his being named one of Maryland’s Most Admired CEOs by The Daily Record.

A Fellow with the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Immediate Past Chair of the Urban Land Institute’s Public Development Infrastructure Council, Guckert is also an Instructor at Harvard University and a member of Texas A&M Transportation Technology Advisory Council.
