WEATHER POLICY ~ RAIN OR SHINE!

We are closely monitoring the thunderstorms currently forecast for Thursday evening. The Beach 5K remains scheduled to take place as planned, rain or shine. Rain alone will not cancel the event.

The safety of our runners, volunteers, spectators, and staff is our highest priority. We will not begin or continue the race while lightning or other dangerous conditions are present. Depending on the timing and severity of the weather, the event may be delayed, modified, or canceled.

Because thunderstorms can develop or move quickly, a decision may be made at any time — including shortly before or during the event. Updates will be shared by email and posted on the race website (linked below) as soon as possible.

Please check the forecast before leaving home and dress appropriately. Unless you receive an official notice from the Believe In Tomorrow team, please plan for the Beach 5K to proceed as scheduled!
