Believe In Tomorrow House at St. Casimir Volunteer Opportunities
The Believe In Tomorrow House at St. Casimir is a house of seven individual suites dedicated solely to pediatric bone marrow transplant patients. Treatment often requires leukemia patients to stay within a 15-minute drive of the hospital for 60 to 120 days. Read below to find ways to help keep residents of this house – located in Baltimore’s Canton neighborhood – comfortable.

Deep Cleaners: Are you interested in joining a dynamic team who likes to get hands-on? The St. Casimir Deep Cleaning Crew is for you! Join our team of cleaners and help make the Believe In Tomorrow's St. Casimir’s apartments clean and sanitary for our bone marrow transplant patients. This team involves minimal commitment; we only work on an as needed basis. When a family checks out of St. Casimir, the Deep Cleaning Crew cleans and sanitizes the apartment to get it ready for the next family.
Family Suppers: Come prepare and enjoy a delicious meal with the families. This is a great opportunity for groups!
Cookie Baking: Treat the families of St. Casimir and The Children’s House at John’s Hopkins to delicious home-baked treats and goodies.
Deck Cleaners: The decks that span the Children's House at St. Casimir allow families with leukemia patients to get fresh air and take in views of Baltimore's Harbor without having to worry about their child's exposure to germs. The large deck areas also accumulate dirt easily. Help keep families happy and healthy by washing away the dirt on the decks on an as-needed basis.
Common Area Cleaners: St.Casimir has a common dining area, laundry room, and lounge that need a deeper cleaning on an as-needed basis.
Gardeners: The gated courtyard is one of St. Casimir's most welcoming features. Help keep it alive and well with your gardening knowledge.
