Sports Day at the Beach
For Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation, Easter Sunday is about more than scavenger hunts and hard-boiled eggs. The foundation hosts a sports card show at the Ocean City Convention Center to benefit the Believe In Tomorrow Children’s House By The Sea. The event usually includes auctions and is held in tandem with the Easter Arts and Craft Show. For more information, call (800) 933-9470.

26: Port to Fort 6k Run/Walk
Head to your closet and dust off those running shoes you’ve been hiding all winter. As spring breaks every year, runners and walkers lineup at Believe In Tomorrow’s Port to Fort starting line. The race begins at the Baltimore Museum of Industry and is organized by a professional race director. This event has grown to become one of Baltimore City’s largest race events. Believe In Tomorrow encourages teams of armed service members, coworkers, families and friends to compete, gives individual awards, and even allows strollers and iPods. Open to the general public, with opportunities to raise extra money for Believe In Tomorrow through Firstgiving.com, $20 will get the first 1,200 registered runners and walkers a commemorative t-shirt, race goodie bag and invitation to the post-race party with music, food, and beverages.

15: Gala By The Sea
The black-tie optional gala brings guests to the Grand Ballroom at the Clarion Resort in Ocean City for dinner, live music, and silent and live auctions. The event celebrates the magic of creating beach memories for the very special children of Believe In Tomorrow. All proceeds benefit the Believe In Tomorrow House By The Sea. 3: 27th Annual Benefit & Auction
The largest Believe In Tomorrow event of the year, the annual Benefit and Auction, attracts guests young and old. Over a dozen area restaurants donate food to keep partygoers happy as they listen to live music and bid in live and silent auctions. Every year, Believe In Tomorrow hands out an Unsung Hero Award for one Believe In Tomorrow volunteer who has gone beyond the call of duty. The event serves as an annual meeting spot for Believe In Tomorrow donors, volunteers, friends, families and staff. Please join us at this year’s Benefit and Auction to support the critically ill children of Believe In Tomorrow.
