Believe In Tomorrow children can take-off and fly high thanks to the Hands On™ Flying Adventure, which began as one of Believe In Tomorrow’s programs in 1996. Since then the program has lifted-off with the help of a key adventure partner, the Lightship Group.
The Lightship Group is a full service airship advertising company that provides integrated airship promotional campaigns for major international clients. It was founded as the American Blimp Corporation in 1987. Two of Lightship’s clients, Syngenta and SANYO have carried Believe In Tomorrow children aboard their blimps.

Believe In Tomorrow Hands On Flying began through its relationship with SANYO which extented into a 10-year partnership. Since then, Believe In Tomorrow has provided over 2,000 individual Hands On Flying Adventures through the Lightship Group.
For many critically ill children, just the sight of the giant airships is an entirely new experience and serves to ignite imaginations, getting kids to look skyward instead of focusing on the present or past. When children get a chance to ride – and sometimes fly the blimp themselves – thousands of miles in the air, the smiles on their faces when they land and step off the blimp are infectious.
