Doug Widlake
Over the past four years, Doug Widlake has become a “big fan” of Believe In Tomorrow founder, Brian Morrison, and his mission. So when asked to donate furniture for the Believe In Tomorrow Children’s House at Johns Hopkins, he not only said yes, but furnished every room. Doug is President and Chief Executive Officer of Lakewood Manufacturing Company in Westminster, Md., which is a worldwide producer of furniture for college residence halls and military housing facilities.
Doug is very excited for this once in a lifetime experience and hopes to make this a fund-raising event that will not only exceed the financial goals, but give Believe In Tomorrow national exposure that he believes is long overdue. Doug’s preparation for the 72 mile journey began June 1.
“The cause itself is one that pulls at the heartstrings. Anybody who sits back and reflects and realizes how lucky they are needs to also find that there’s time in the day to think about people that have some pretty sad situations to deal with.”
Doug currently resides in Catonsville, Md., with his wife, Maureen, and their four children.
