From the North: Take I-95 South to 695 West (towards Towson) to 83 South. Stay in the left lane and follow all signs to The Johns Hopkins Medical campus. 83 South turns into President Street when it dead-ends into downtown Baltimore. Make a left on Fayette Street; this is a double turn lane. Drive for several blocks and make a left onto Washington Street. At the second traffic light, you will see The Children's House on the left. Turn left onto McElderry Street. See parking directions
From the South: Take I-95 North to 395 Downtown Baltimore. 395 will split-stay left (do not take Martin Luther King Blvd). Take a right on Pratt Street and follow along the Baltimore Inner Harbor. You will travel through Little Italy and the Fells Point area. Turn left on Washington Street. Drive for several blocks. You will see The Children’s House on the left at McElderry and Washington Street. Turn left onto McElderry Street.
From the East: Take Route 40 West (a.k.a. Pulaski Highway and Orleans Street) towards Baltimore City. Turn right on Washington Street. At the next traffic light, you will see The Children's House on the left. Turn left onto McElderry Street.
From the West: Take Route 40 East (a.k.a. Edmondson Avenue, Mulberry Street, and Orleans Street) towards Baltimore City. Turn left on Washington Street. At the next traffic light, you will see The Children's House on the left. Turn left onto McElderry Street.
Parking Directions: The Johns Hopkins Hospital allows us to have a limited number of passes; therefore we can only give one per family. If we have any extra they may be used for volunteers or visitors to the house. When first arriving at The Children’s House, please follow the directions above, pull in front of the house, put your flashers on and ring the doorbell. Check with the front desk to receive your parking pass if they are available. The parking pass is a swipe card that lets you in and out of the gated lot on Jefferson Street. The pass is sequenced; which means you need to swipe the card to exit the lot. Please remember to return the pass to The Children's House after you exit the lot. If you are a family staying with us, you must return it by noon of the day you are scheduled to check out.

From The Children’s House at Johns Hopkins: Make a right from the Broadway Garage onto N. Wolfe Street heading south. Turn left onto Aliceanna Street. Make a right onto Boston Street. You will pass the Safeway on your left. Make a left onto Lakewood Avenue and then an immediate right onto N. O’Donnell Street. St. Casimir Church is on your left. When you reach the first light, make a left onto Kenwood Avenue and then an immediate left onto S. O’Donnell Street.
From North: Take I-83/Jones Falls Expressway South, which will become President Street. President Street will dead end into Fleet Street at a slight left. Take Fleet Street and make a right onto Boston Street. You will pass the Safeway on your left. Make a left onto Lakewood Avenue and then an immediate right onto N. O’Donnell Street. St. Casimir Church is on your left. When you reach the first light, make a left onto Kenwood Avenue and then an immediate left onto S. O’Donnell Street.
From East (North I-95): Take I-95 South towards the tunnel. Take Exit #57 towards O’Donnell Street and take the O'Donnell Street East ramp towards Boston Street. Merge onto Interstate Avenue and stay straight to go onto Boston Street. Make a right onto S. Linwood Avenue. Make another left at the light onto S. O’Donnell Street.
From West/South (South I-95): Take I-95 North through the tunnel ($2.00 per car toll). Take the Boston Street exit and make a left onto Boston Street at the end of the ramp. Make a right onto S. Linwood Avenue and then a left at the light onto S. O’Donnell Street.
